Maths trip to Kew Gardens
The Maths trip to Kew Gardens was a great success. Students thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful and serene surroundings while exploring patterns and mathematical connections within the environment. They examined the mathematical features of structures such as the Pagoda and made links between maths and the natural world around them. The students had a fantastic time, appreciating both the beauty of nature and the many mathematical patterns found throughout Kew Gardens.

Year 12 Students Attend Inspiring Healthcare Conference
On Thursday 14th May, Year 12 students attended a Healthcare Conference at Notting Hill & Ealing High School GDST, where they had the opportunity to hear from a range of experienced professionals working across the healthcare sector.
One of the keynote speakers was Dr Katharine Hunt, an inspiring figure in modern medicine and healthcare leadership. During her talk, Dr Hunt highlighted how her work contributes to the continued advancement of neurological healthcare and patient treatment. She explained how strong leadership, collaboration and medical innovation are helping to shape the future of medicine and ensure excellence remains at the heart of patient care.
The conference provided students with a valuable insight into the wide range of careers available within healthcare. Students were able to learn directly from professionals working in different specialisms, helping them to better understand the pathways into medicine and the skills required for success in the industry.
Overall, the event was a fantastic opportunity for students interested in healthcare careers to gain inspiration, ask questions and broaden their understanding of the medical profession.
Year 12 – Work Experience
Year 12 students are encouraged to explore work experience opportunities that support their learning and future aspirations.
Rida R, Head Student recently had the amazing opportunity to do a one-day work experience at PGIM Real Estate. This is her testimony:
”It was an insightful and engaging experience that gave me a real understanding of the industry and the wide range of careers within it.
We began the day with an introduction from Mathew Crowther, Portfolio Manager at PGIM, where we shared interesting facts about the company. I learnt that PGIM manages over $1.5 trillion in total assets — something I found truly impressive!
We then met Peter Cosmetatos, CEO of CREFC Europe, who provided valuable insight into the real estate industry. I found it particularly interesting to learn how much of the sector is underpinned by legal frameworks, highlighting how Law intersects with many different industries.
Later in the morning, we met a range of professionals from PGIM who spoke in depth about their roles and career journeys. One key takeaway for me was that your subject choices at school do not always have to directly determine your future career path. Many of the professionals demonstrated this through their own experiences.
After lunch, we were split into groups and tasked with creating and presenting a pitch for an investment opportunity. Although our group did not win, I am grateful for the opportunity to develop my confidence and public speaking skills. My role within the presentation was to explain the risks associated with the investment opportunity, as well as the mitigants in place to address them.
Overall, it was an inspiring experience that allowed me to gain valuable knowledge, build new skills and develop a greater understanding of the real estate industry.”
Summer 2026 GCSE & A-Level Examinations Timetable
Please find the attached Summer 2026 examination timetable, which outlines all exam dates for our students sitting GCSE, A-level and BTEC exams.
It is important that all students sitting exams this summer remain available up to and including Tuesday 24 June 2026. This is to ensure they are available to sit an exam that has be rescheduled due to a national or local disruption to the published timetable.
We therefore kindly request that any holidays are arranged from 26 June 2026 onwards. This will help ensure your child is able to attend all of their examinations and allow them to attain their best possible outcomes.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at exam@villliers.ealings.sch.uk.
