Message from the Headteacher, Mr Richards
What a busy week! We really appreciate you holding on to your children a little longer than usual yesterday and today to support our open evenings and thank you so much for the word of mouth which encouraged so many families to attend. We think it’s a really great place to learn and clearly so do many other families in the local area. We still have some open morning tours next week, so keep telling your friends and family with year 5s and 6s about how great Villiers is and ask them to email info@villiers.ealing.sch.uk for a tour on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday morning of next week.
We’ve also had a ‘Talk the talk’ transition workshop for year 7 this week supporting a group of our students with the transition to High school. More to come on this. Next week, we have our introduction to 6th form evening for our year 12 families on Thursday evening, year 10 in-class assessments to get some baseline data from students on their new courses; European Day of Languages on Friday and some less exciting flu vaccinations for pupils in years 7 – 11.
A reminder to make sure your child has a warm weather-proof overcoat as the weather sets in; if you are struggling financially with this, please contact your child’s Head of Year for options of support. Please also make sure that if your child walks home on their own, they are thinking about road safety and wearing something reflective with it starting to get a bit darker earlier. This is a good place to start.

Year 13 Leavers: A Journey of Hard Work, Growth, and Success
Simar’s sixth form journey has been characterised by sheer dedication and relentless effort. From the outset, she set herself the ambitious goal of pursuing Medicine and worked tirelessly to make that dream a reality. Her determination, resilience and commitment to excellence have been evident to both her teachers and peers. Simar consistently pushed herself beyond expectations, showing focus and perseverance in every aspect of her studies. Her hard work has been rewarded as she has successfully secured a place to study Medicine at Anglia Ruskin University. A truly outstanding achievement that reflects her strength of character and drive to succeed.
Ahmed’s time at sixth form has been defined by determination, resilience and unwavering commitment to his goals. From the very beginning, he set his sights on studying Medicine a pathway that demands not only academic excellence but also discipline and perseverance. His daily routine was a testament to his dedication. Ahmed was often at school from 7am making the most of every opportunity to learn, revise and seek guidance from his teachers. His journey serves as an inspiring example to his peers: success is built not only on talent, but on commitment and a belief in one’s potential. Ahmed’s efforts have been rewarded as he has successfully secured a place to study Medicine at Queen Mary University of London, a remarkable achievement and a true reflection of his dedication.
Arvin is celebrating an outstanding achievement with triple A* grades, securing his place at Cambridge University to study General Engineering. Though nervous at first, his results brought joy and pride, reflecting his hard work, determination, and the friendly competition that inspired him to excel. Passionate about Further Maths, he thrived with the support of his teachers, especially Mr V Virdi, whose encouragement was invaluable. Proud to have made his parents proud, Arvin now looks forward to Cambridge, confident that his time at Villiers has shown him the power of belief, effort, and perseverance.
Bedanta is celebrating his success as he prepares to join Oxford University to study Mathematics and Computer Science. He credits his achievement to his teachers and the use of this free study periods which, enabled him to meet the demanding standards of such a competitive course. Known among his peers as the “Maths guy”, he thrived on problem-solving and collaborative learning, finding that working through challenges with classmates strengthened both his understanding and confidence. While he knows Oxford will take him out of his comfort zone, Bedanta is ready to face the challenges ahead. Though excited for the future, he will miss the friendships he has built at Villiers and looks forward to seeing his peers flourish.
Prachi is delighted with her distinction results and is now set to begin her journey at the University of Westminster, where she will study Business Management. While she will miss the social side of life at Villiers, especially the daily interactions with friends and teachers, she is excited for what lies ahead. Looking to the future, Prachi is determined to keep growing, striving always to do better and be better.
Priya is excited to be heading to Kingston University to study Architecture, a path inspired by her love of Maths, problem-solving, and hard work. She feels her achievements have shown her that with determination, she can achieve anything she sets her mind to. While she looks forward to the future, Priya says she will miss the amazing trips and experiences she enjoyed at Villiers, as well as the close friendships she has built, which she hopes will last for many years to come.
Nayandip describes his results in one word, outstanding. Over the moon with his grades, he is thrilled to have secured a degree apprenticeship at BP, becoming the first in his family to take this path. Proud to be paving the way, he is keen to show that there are many routes to success beyond university. He has particularly valued the opportunities at Villiers Sixth Form, especially the work experience trip abroad, which pushed him out of his comfort zone and broadened his perspective. Though nervous at times, Nayandip now firmly believes that with self-belief, anything is possible.
Waleed is enormously excited about his results and is now looking forward to starting a solicitor apprenticeship. Though a little nervous about stepping into something new, he is ready to take on the challenge with determination. He feels his hard work has truly paid off, supported every step of the way by his parents and siblings, whose encouragement helped him push forward and overcome any barriers. He particularly enjoyed studying Psychology, finding it an engaging subject where he learned a great deal from both his teachers and peers.
